母亲已经去世了

母亲已经在四天前因癌症去世。她去世时，正好是美东时间清早。父亲马上通知了我，我得以买到当天下午的机票回国。飞了20多个小时到家。次日就是追悼会，火化，和下葬。多亏了亲戚朋友和母亲前同事们的帮助，丧事得以顺利进行。

父亲说，母亲去世那天早上还见了一个旧友。下午，她想呕。呕了之后，就没有呼吸了。

没有在母亲去世前见她一面，是一个遗憾。但是母亲也早些脱离了被癌症折磨之苦，这让我和父亲也得到了一点安慰。

母亲与癌症斗争了两年零八个月，饱受折磨。作为儿子，心里也不好受。我在这个论坛得到了大家热心的指点和安慰，使我在这段黑暗的日子里感受到了温暖。非常感谢大家！
