请教薛诚医生和大家

我妈昨天把手摔了，当时手就不听使唤了，歪了。在急诊室待了六个半小时，照了X光，说是手腕骨折。只给做了简单的处理，用了一个splint。让我们尽快看骨科医生，最吓人的是，还说有可能需要做手术。

我刚刚取来X光 Report。恳请薛医生和大家帮忙看看。开始以为只要复位固定就可以了，怎么还有可能需要做手术呢？现在我妈就是疼，俺老太太的话，是“一拱一拱地疼”，需要吃泰诺镇痛。医生给开了Tylenol with Codeine，我刚刚取来，打算一会吃完饭吃。

X光报告如下，还有X光照片。

Technique: AP, lateral and oblique views of the right wrist were performed.
Findings: There is a comminuted fracture of the distal radius with possible inter-articular extension.  There is dorsal angulation of the distal fragment.  Fracture of the ulnar styloid is also seen.  Generalize osteropenia is noted.  The joint spaces appear normal.  Soft tissue swelling is seen in the wrist.

Impression: 
1) Comminuted fracture of the distal radium with possible intra-articular extension.  Dorsal angulation of the distal fragment.
2) Fracture of the ulnar styloid

不知是不是可以用cast固定恢复，还是必须做手术？看骨科医生前需要大夫refer，还要保险公司批，可能需要三到五天。可是急诊大夫让一到三天内看骨科医生。如果晚一点，会不会有问题？还有，这么疼，正常吗？还得疼多少天呀？很着急。
