Hi, sorry to hear about that.  Glomerulonephritis (GN) can be caused by so many different etiology.  If you can post some labs here, or send to my qq, I will try to help and ask around if I do not know much.  You will need to have results of urinalysis, CBC, BMP (with creatinine and eGFR calculated), renal ultrasound result.  Is your symptom more of a nephritic (inflammation, RBC, blood in urine) or nephrotic (protein mainly, more than 3-3.5 gram daily)?  Any swelling at eyelid, legs?  Any hypertension?  Any other symptoms and signs on physical exam?  ...Did your primary doctor recommend you to see a nephrologist (kidney doctor)?
