From Saunders Nursing Drug Handbook;
Nasonex---Anti-inflammatory. An adrenocorticosteroid that inhibits the release of imflammatory cells into nasal tissue, preventing early activation of the allergic reaction.
Unknown if drug crosses placenta (胎盘)or is distributd in breast milk.
FDA mark it as Pregnancy Category C: Animal reproduction studies have shown an adverse effect on the fetus and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in humans, but potential benefits may warrant use of the drug in pregnant women despite potential risks.
放心地遵医嘱使用.若cold and sinus symptoms无好转,call your OB/GYN to have a thorough check.
