(Question: how many chemicals are in the human body?)

(My putative Answer is: 100,000,the minimum)

(See my analysis).

(Some Particles Cannot Get Out of the Body).

(DDT, 666, etc. can be found in human bodies even though they were banned a long time ago).

(Inert materials such as asbestos, fiberglass, and films can cause cancer).

(Ignoring potential chemical interference, just the space occupation by them may be enough to ruin human health. It is possible that the human cells and inter-cellular spaces are filled with fanny particles including those including man-made elements. I recall that many inert materials including asbestos, fiberglass, and films can cause cancer in humans or animals models. Their action mechanisms in causing cancer are poorly understood. So, a better term of chronic diseases in this modern world is Toxic Chemical Syndrome, while disease signs would be on the heart, liver, kidneys, lungs, brain, or any other organs.)

(医学文化是不见棺材不掉泪: the pathophysiological consequences of the amount of micro-plastics retained in the human body are yet unclear,BUT… Studies on toxicity due to the polymeric composition of micro-plastics in marine, freshwater, and terrestrial organisms reported various toxic effects but the most frequently mentioned were oxidative stress-related endpoints [B]. There is a lack of toxicity data for humans in vivo at the moment. However, several studies have looked at the effect of pristine micro-plastics in human cells in culture [49]. In these studies, as in animal models, the main detected endpoint was oxidative stress with reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation [50–54]. Other toxic effects regarded lipid metabolism, microbiota, neurotoxicity, inflammatory and immunological responses, cytotoxic effects, disruption of mitochondrial membrane potential, inhibition of plasma membrane ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporter activity [47,52,55]. (I must take it without any hesitation that micro-plastics must cause diseases.)

我的分析如下(My Analysis is as follows):

1. One crystal clean bottle of waster contain 24,500 chemicals. This is very suppressing indeed because humans always thought that bottled water is the purest [A].

2. Virtually every chemical that has been made by humans has been found in wild animals and human bodies including newborns’.

3. There is a massive number of micro-particles, which could come from plastics or recycled plastics. Those particles could be created by mechanical force and weather effects.

4. Biological materials such as proteins, DNA, fats, carbohydrates, fibers, etc. can be broken down by thermal processes. They can become all kinds of products with different sizes and different molecular weights or elements.

5. Free radicals generated by various heavy metals in human bodies can break down any of the biological materials become smaller pieces.

6. All biological materials and degraded biological materials (chemically-degraded products, thermalized products, etc) must be able to absorb other small molecules by very weak non-covalent bonds to form more complex chemical entities.

7. Some chemicals may become crystallized when their concentrations are too higher due to accumulation.

8. Due to technical limitations, it is impossible to detect those chemical entities at very low concentration. So, prediction must be made by considering the possible combination of elements. Various stones can cause great pain.

9. To make a prediction, I would have to consider the number of elements available.
There are about 90 naturally occurring elements known on Earth. Using technology, scientists have been able to create nearly 30 additional elements that do not occur in nature. Today, chemistry recognizes 118 elements—some of which were created an atom at a time.

Now, we see the real exciting part: we will have a single element (which can still have different valence values), 2-elements combinations, 3-elements combination, 4-elements combinations etc, which will be something like infinity for practical purpose. However, most of combinations cannot happen (even considering the absorption factor). Assuming only a tiny fraction of the theoretic limit can exist, that can be safely be more than 100,000. This is an extremely conservative prediction.

It is possible that the human cells and inter-cellular spaces are filled with fanny particles including those including man-made elements.

Some chemicals may disrupt biological processes by interacting with the biological processes.

“Now, micro-plastics are ubiquitous particles and have been found both in aquatic [18,19] and terrestrial [20,21] ecosystems becoming a global environmental issue. They have been studied and well documented in marine waters [22], surface water bodies [23,24], waste water [25,26] and groundwater [27].”

Ingestion through contaminated foods represents one of the main pathways through
which micro-plastics enter the human body [38]. They were traced in many foods, such as fish products [39,40], edible mollusks [30], fruit and vegetables [41], table salt [42,43] and industrial and packaged food [44,45] as a result of environmental or process contamination. The ingested micro-plastics are mostly excreted (up to 90%) [39] and were detected in humans’ feces [46] but the pathophysiological consequences of the amount of micro-plastics retained in the human body are yet unclear.

Studies on toxicity due to the polymeric composition of micro-plastics in marine, freshwater, and terrestrial organisms reported various toxic effects but the most frequently mentioned were oxidative stress-related endpoints [B]. (I must take it without any hesitation that micro-plastics must cause various diseases.)
