don't really understand what difficulities the parents had experienced in their homeland. As growing up in the West, they feel they are entitled to everything, not like their parents who are more thankful. Yes, there are still ceiling glass and discrimination towards Asian. But if you are back to China, you'll find more discrimination, unjustice and unfairness. Beijing and Shanghai people look down small-city people, city people look down peasants, and they can speak that loundly to your face. Your fantacy about China may be just look good from distance. The reality is not so rosy at all. Lots of us here had witnessed that. By the way, in the univesity and in the banks you have worked for, you may contact many rich Chineses, but there are so many people there, they are very very few. and there is no gurantee your parents would be one of them if they would have stayed there. Then you probably would have had no chance to go to elite shools and land in good jobs. Be thankful, and remember, you are the master of your own fate, not your parents.
