inguinal hernia 腹股沟疝怎么治？ 中医针灸有效吗？

邻居老人80多了患inguinal hernia，医生说hernia还小不选择手术。可老人觉得疼，不舒服。请问有没有中医保守方法治疗改善？针灸有效吗？谢谢
