大意是从50名病人的10 trillion 碱基对基因测序得到约1700基因突变，其中大多因病人个体而异。很难有规律可循。所以一哥儿们给了以下跟帖：
This was a Herculean effort. However, I fail to see what new therapeutic opportunities have come to light as a result of this research. Actually, the results reinforce the experience that the notion of personalized medicine may be premature, and that for the improvement of therapeutic efficiency we need improvement of early detection and of cytotoxic therapies such as radiation and chemotherapeutic drugs
