闲着也是闲着，为了回答下面的问题，调查研究了

快速去Wellesley学院化学系网站踩点去了，共24个faculty members, 8个专职instructors in chemistry laboratory. 剩下的16个里有4个是有active research programs并且有比较重大的funding和publications, 其他人看不出有多少active research. 也就是说，16%的faculty的工作是research university caliber。
