Lamictal is a medication which does not have too much side effect. Only reaction is: skin rask. If rash appears, should discontinue it. Usually start from a a low dose and gradually increase the dose.

If have only seizure, we usually do not start medication until the 2nd one occurs, except EEG or brain MRI bnormal.The EEG is very trick, some neurologists over- report as abnormal even if it is normal.
