房子被毁，和房客租约就算自动解除了吗

龙卷风摧毁了一半房子，屋顶吹没，filed claim 还没回应。我觉得是无法修复要重建的。现在租约就算自动解除了？除了退还deposit,还有什么要做的吗？他们有自己的renters insurance. 我查了一下landlord coverage, 好像没什么给tenants的补偿。
