I agree, it is mostly the combination of being smart and being able to focus when needed. but sometimes smart kids tend to be easily distracted as they are in general curious. That is why only a very lucky few can be on the top, a very lucky few in the way that they are smart from birth and they have mindful parents to always guide them to form a good habit which they would benefit for a lifetime.
