My daughter refused to go to

dance class. She is almost 4 years old,(we think) she is very easy to get scared. She is scared of the costumed animals, including her favoriate cartoon figures(she likes them on the TV, but scared of them on the street). She is scared of train because one train made bigger noice than usual while she planned to take a train. She was scared of the fire alarms(not any more).

I believe she refused to go to dance class because of the unfamiliar environment because she loves to dance at home. To me, scared is ok, but I wish she can overcome the scare and explore some new circle around her life experience and to have fun.

If you have any experience on how to encourage young child to be brave, please provide your advice. Any input is welcome.
