Don't do that

Is there gifted progam in your school district? kids in this kind of progam will be challenged march more.

They will finish required school work in about half of a semester. The rest of the time will be spent on expanding their learning scope and doing projects.

At his of school time, challenge him with other activities: Chinese, soccer, piano, swimming, etc.

The biggest problem with skipping grades is that he will be in disadvantage in his social side. My boss was a smart kid who skipped grades and regret about it. When he was 14, all his boy classmates except him can drive and girls like to hang out with them, he was the only one left!
