We went to all the places listed in your post.

Particularily, we went to NHL Predator's arena which is near the art museum. 

Downtown was very busy and active, we hopped on an open top tour bus to see the street. 

Vandy's campus was not impressive to my eyes, pretty lame. But the finacial package from this school is generous. My D's friend got into multiple same tier schools, Vandy's offer is the best.
