I wonder if you have noticed that most people (teenage and older) do know what is right, what is good, and what is desirable?
Depression is a sign of feeling deeply helpless, not being able to achieve what we want and what we think is good, right and desirable?
Our culture is very big on 劝and讲道理,which often add more burden to an already depressed soul, feeling that she has failed to do what is right: such as not to worry, take it easy, be happy, be helpful, be good...
I myself is very sensitive to 劝and讲道理, because I feel like I do know where I want to be, but the biggest question is how to get there. And this question can only be answered by oneself, eventually.
