我有机会看到了Harvard admission office的具体评分：evaluation and score for each item in her application. 有些information供大家参考, in the upcoming RD process. Hope it helps a little.
1). 推荐信拿到最高分。（但是最好不要花里胡哨的请学校外边的人写, 例如公司高层。）
2）athletic评分一般 ，尽管闺女是两个varsity captain. 估计这里面人才济济 ，进奥林匹克队的水平才能拿到最高分, 例如娃的朋友.
3）academic 评分一般, 尽管闺女有18门AP.
4）每一个Harvard admission officers 对申请内容都有非常详细的描述，包括对college application material details, College common essay and specific essays, 例如有一位写道: ”怎么没有把Soprano classic Solo的attachments附上? 想听一下”。 阅读申请材料非常仔细unbelievably。
5）面试也打分。但是不一定contribute to the final score. 例如我闺女没有Yale面试（accepted.） Princeton特别看重面试，时间快过了，最后AO急忙安排一个不是本地的年轻女校友兼教授来面试。(just wanna make sure it’s the right person they like lol.）
6）还有很多小细节，都详细记载了。
