Was your child like this when he was young?

I mean, did he like going out with friends when he was a little boy? If he did well when he was young, I think it is just temporary. I know quite a few people totally changed their personality during teenage years. After going to college, changed back. (I cannot imagine how I stayed inside whole summer during high school years -- now I need to go out everyday!)
