电影a bad education

周末在HBO Max看了个真人真事的电影：

Set in the Long Island village of Roslyn in the early 2000s, the film tells the story of school district superintendent Dr. Frank Tassone (Jackman) who, along with assistant superintendent Pam Gluckin (Janney) stole millions of dollars from their wealthy public school district, and together attempted to cover up the embezzlement

这件事情里最有意思的是，发现和捅出这件百万贪污案的是高中生，发表在校报上，然后有位家长是NYT编辑，读到后发表在NYT上面。 可是学区里的成人都到哪里去了？为什么学区的审计可以被主犯威胁到不敢追问，而高中生不怕威胁？

电影很多细节都处理得耐人寻味。主犯是个复杂的个体，一方面因为他，高中上升到全美前10。结尾很丰富：主犯在监狱里悠哉悠哉的读书和护肤。

看后对美国长大的孩子们充满希望。
