I have this theory that since quality of life is much better and more financially stable for the bottom ~90% of society in Europe versus the United States, the Europeans tend to focus less on social political issues - like transgender rights, BLM, DEI - than Americans do. Since Americans cannot improve their actual wellbeing through the political process, like how Europeans have been able to, Americans end up focusing on cultural hot buttons to psychologically compensate.
