I need your advice! my son wants to apply for a college in Canad

my son says it's boring living in the same place, he wants to apply for a college in Canada since he may get into a top college there,but may not get into a same ranking college in US(based on world top universities rankings). He's even thinking of working in Canada after graduation.My thoughts is we worked so hard as first generation in US, finally got green card and settled in US living a middle class life, I do not want my son to start from the very beginning in Canada, by the way, there are not as many opportunities as in US as I heard. He should work hard now to get into a good college in US(mabye ranking is lower than that school)and get into medical school in the future based on his previous plan. What do you say to him if he's your son? I need your advice!
