In Taiwan, TSMC is seen as a symbol of an economic miracle and has earned the title of “Guardian Mountain,” representing the nation’s exceptional achievements in the field of technology.
TSMC’s rapid advancement in logic process technology is largely driven by the hard work of its engineers. The company has gone all out in research and development, continuously pushing forward despite pressure from Intel and Samsung. In fact, TSMC even formed a 24-hour R&D task force, known as the “Night Hawk Project,” to accelerate process development.
