从拉选票上看，McCain这个VP pick 是有道理的。

中午吃饭一个小白说到大选，他是Manufacture部门一个小manager，所以跟operator, blue collar worker, union member接触多（偶一向反Union. 倾向民主党是因为作为minority women, 中意民主党的多元化主张）。

他说他认为Palin不会吸引Hillary 女性支持者(尤其是Pro-choice的女权主义者），因为Palin和Hillary从个人生活到政治主张根本上不是一个world.

但Palin确实吸引了Hillary 的不少男性working class supporters. 他接触的union members, blue collar workers说："Palin's hu*****and没什么学历， 是oil company production operator for 20 years, 去年年薪不到５万，也是union member, 典型的工人阶级。他酒（或药）后驾车 arrested under DUI, 她５个孩子，大儿子高中毕业skip college参军，大女儿高中没毕业未婚先孕， 他们家热爱户外运动，丈夫是snowmachine 冠军。She is definitely different from other politicians or elites. she has all the problems we have, she is just one of us..... " 相反民主党VP Joe Biden, 本人及子女都毕业于昂贵的私立高中，Law school...在政府就职，是典型的政客家族。

男性working class 支持民主党很多是因为Union的关系，但本来也难以接受黑人总统OBAMA, 现在转向McCain/Palin.所以从拉选票上看，McCain这个VP pick 是有道理的。
