请问大家大学Core curriculum 有啥利弊

前天和康嫂见面。说起uchicago和NW。她说让娃好好研究一下uchicago的required core curriculum，看是不是喜欢。总结就是NW类的选课很flexible。

我觉得对于理工娃，core很不错。但是在好大学，文科课是不是比较demanding, 而且有可能影响学分?
