What I say may not be what you want to hear. At this age, the mold is set and there is very little you could do now. My suggestion - love the daughter as she is and enjoy the days you are together. This is from my own experiences.

The good news is that college really does not care too much about a couple of B's.

The more you nag, the less she will listen to you. There are many books about the relationship between teenage duagters and their moms.
