我的高光时刻

是儿子一年级的时候在一次CalChess State Grade Level Championships的半决赛打败他的同龄小印对手，在周围大家的欢呼声中跑到我的面前，小声的对我说，are you proud of me? 然后上来搂住了我的脖子。

那时他好瘦小啊，看起来累的够呛。在接下来的冠亚军比赛里，他的对手又是一个小印，两个孩子坚持到了全场最后。大家都透过门缝看那两个孩子棋下的怎么样了。那个小印个子更小，每次下棋还要拿一个椅子垫才够得到桌子。

后来知道那个小印到处去参加国际比赛，好像也拿过国际第一早早就是grand master了。

现在想来，那个孩子肯定进了大疼。当时跟我儿子比赛的时候就告诉我他有两个象棋教练每天下几个小时的棋。

我家儿子就是兴趣爱好太多。那时他什么都在学包括钢琴，小提琴，游泳队，篮球队，花样滑冰 ，网球和象棋。

要想成功，只能靠专注和发挥自己的优势。
