我孩子skipped 11th grade. short of one class to get diploma at

graduation ceremony. Our school district does not allow students to go back (repeat 12th grade again). Counsellor discouraged skipping 11th grade but our kid insisted. A lot of work to get waiver on 11th grade English (Had to take college level English literature exam, so called CLEP and get A). 

M does not care if you graduate from high school or not. My kid had to take one online class in the summer and got her high school diploma in the fall.
