School districting is a somewhat "honor system". What you said is essentially an abuse of the system. It is not fair to those who have played according to the rule, those parents who have sacrificed to get their kids into the same schools.
It may also become devastating for the kid, once the district found out. The kid may be forced out with shame.
Even the fear of being discovered is going to have a negative effect on the kid. He/she will keep a low profile. Bad for his/her emotional growth.
