1. They dropped metrics like class size (8% of the 2023 scoring), student high school standing, faculty terminal degrees, and aluminum giving (together, they are another 8% of 2023 scoring).

2. They added four metrics on research productivity (4% of 2024 scoring).

3. For colleges without usable SAT/ACT scores (<50% of new students submitted tests), this 5% will be added to graduation rates.

4. Another metric called "graduation rate performance" — which basically rewards you if you graduate more students than projected — got another 2% bump to 10%.

   1. There is another +5% on first-generation graduation rate & performance.

5. A new 5% metric called "college grads earning more than a high school grad" is added.
