whatever you've experienced...it really does not matter to me because, to me, it's really just another story...

I am not advoating anything...not "pain" not "love" not even "cool headedness"...I am simply saying...the world is big...your way does not equal to THE way...

As to the word "Naive"...no, it's not the bad word...as to the properness in the context...I guess that's the point of the disagreement...

For those who dare to love and gamble, "picking and choosing" is naive...because life is short...why not live to the fullness of it..

For those who picked and choosed therefore enjoying a good marriage, "loving and gambling" is naive...just look that how painful the experience is...

However, loving to the point of extreme pain needs lots of courage and sophistication too...

I can tell you that I am not that type...but, sometimes...when I read a life-racking love story in tears, I do wish that I could just experience that once ...but only once :)

As to you, you've already experienced...therefore, it's time to pick and choose..again...lucky you...
