其实你的标题加深了这里人的误解。严格来说，大学搞的是基础研究，不是药物研究。

你老板卖出去的那个lead是个extreme exception。大学做的事绝大（99%+) 都是铺垫，比如搞个new biological target，让药物公司去chase.  或者是革命性的platform technology.  或者做个animal disease model.  这些都是制药工业的引擎。
