焦虑啊焦虑

唉，羊妈也开始焦虑。

女儿贝贝在一个白区大公校的学校舞蹈队。舞蹈队的女孩子真的很甜，很大方也很活泼，但课业上对自己的期待实在和我们大不一样。过去两届毕业生队员们，不要说T5，T20，居然连一个州大的都没有，好像我们州第二好的学校也几乎没有，去的都是那种我老公说的“学校太烂绝不付钱”的大学。。。看了叫我这亚裔妈咪暗暗着急。

舞蹈队这门课因为是unweighted，而且是double block，本来就拉垮GPA。今年我家贝贝当上service officer，居然还要加一个block！三个unweighted blocks，对她的排名非常不利。但我们做家长的还是得支持她啊。

前天新学年的schedule出炉了。晕倒，AP chemistry 和 French 3 居然因为和舞蹈队冲突而必须二选一。天哪，好一个晴天霹雳，狠狠触动了我的底线--居然要为了这劳什子舞蹈队service officer hour而牺牲 core classes?? 

我和老公商量，但没结果。。。我俩都在北美读的高中，但我们当时多么轻松啊。我们也从来没像贝贝这么投入学校的团队/校队。说来有点不好意思，我俩当时唯一的校队都是（不同）学校math club，多么stereotypical.

舞蹈队的妈咪不理解我的焦虑。我家的目标是州大，但现在州大都很难进了。要是高三少了一门core class，还被舞蹈课拖GPA后腿，真的值得吗？羊妈不淡定了。。。焦虑啊焦虑。
