For example, if you graduate from Harvad college, the chance of your children get into Harvard is much higher because the legacy acceptance rate is 40-50%. I also know Stanford and MIT have 5-year BS+Ms program. Harvard has 2+2 program: work 2 years after graduation then go to HBS for 2 years. That are many benefits for getting into top schools.
