以后要减少看儿子的次数了

老妈说：刷卡好心疼呢--芝加哥88超市一刷，400出头；其中儿子就有1/4。。。还没包括一缸油60块呢。这“看儿子一趟就付他grocery账单”的承诺还是蛮费钱啦。芝加哥华人超市的物价涨了很多，我们乡下的Costco/Sam's还真没有同样的感受呢。

这一趟感慨万千啊。。。两对认识的夫妻，孩子长大空巢了，夫妻的缘分也走到了尽头。其中一对很熟悉的，领导最吃惊：看着好好的呀！老人也照顾得很好，孩子们也很有出息，三代相处和睦，几乎是我们的楷模。。。看着老朋友一脸的憔悴，我给领导悄悄说：记得提醒我下次去，多带点土特产。我们能帮的不多，多走动也许能给朋友一点安慰吧。。。

孩子们都长大了。好久不聚了，这次去，知道三个孩子下学期要来我这里上学了。。。老朋友的孩子从我这里毕业一年不到，昨天搬进了新家--“看得见湖景的房间”！去参观小朋友的新家，还请我们吃一顿，也让儿子体会一下芝加哥不同地区的环境，为一年后再找出租房提供了社区的亲身感受。。。

 

给领导说：看了房子就要树立新的奋斗目标。芝加哥看得见湖景的房间最退休房还是不错。。。
