学费 - 求解惑

Why parents are so concerned about 学费?  Why don't we ask the children to borrow the loans?  It is their eduction and their dream colleges。

1) If doctors make a lot of money, they should be able to pay for 医学院学费 in a few year after graduation

2) If the IVY graduates make more than 400K a year, then they should be able to pay off the tuitions in a few year as well
