为什麽旁观者不intervene

There's lots of logical reasons why people do nothing. First, don't meddle in quarrels not your own. Those kids together had every opportunity to fight for themselves and chose meekness. As a grown man, I could catch an assault of a minor charge and possibly a sexual assault case depending on how I intervene and if my elbow touches a breast, etc. It's very, very common for men to later be charged for helping women. Happens all the time. Also, as a grown man, let's say I do try to break it up and these kids end up jumping me. My weight and strength alone from throwing one punch in self defense could kill somebody.
