Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi's ex fiancée Dara Huang finds love again
When Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi began dating in 2018, he was fresh out of a relationship with the mother of his son Christopher (known as Wolfie), the American architect and designer Dara Huang.
Yet despite any feelings of awkwardness, the royal welcomed Ms Huang into the fold, reportedly acting as a stepmother type figure to the former couple's son (who was due to be a pageboy).
Now, it seems that two years after splitting from the handsome Italian property developer, Ms Huang has found love again, this time with 37-year-old London-based financier, Filippos Kodellas de la Morena. He's the son of 'a Greek diplomat and a well-connected Spanish mother', according to Daily Mail diarist, Richard Eden. He is also reportedly director of La Perla.
'Dara is very happy,' a source revealed to the Daily Mail. 'She met Filippos through mutual friends. He’s just as handsome and successful as Edo.'
Bea and Edo were due to wed at the Chapel Royal with a reception hosted by the Queen at Buckingham Palace on 29 May but were forced to push back the date due to the coronavirus pandemic. Plans for the big day were overshadowed initially by the scandal surrounding her father, Prince Andrew, and his connections to convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
It has been speculated that the young couple may leave England for Italy after they are married, in order to avoid the glare of the media spotlight. Edo is set to inherit the family seat, Villa Mapelli Mozzi, while Bea can use the title of Contessa if she wished.
