由“孩子应该会打枪吗”有感而发：美籍华人的拥枪率和枪械普及知识还有待提高

“孩子应该会打枪吗？”表达了楼主个人对枪械教育的观点，本人基本赞同。但帖子里说到“我们家固配用40mm开花弹”，这是个笔误。手枪哪有40mm口径的？那是炮了:-)。

评论里有支持的，也有反对的，但一大堆热评之后，居然没人指出40mm口径的手枪是不存在了。这是个明显的笔误，应该是.40 S&W。

由此可见，美籍华人的拥枪率和枪械普及知识还有待提高。

在一个完美的世界里，个人拥枪或许应该完全禁止。但美国个人拥枪的事实是不太可能逆转了。40%的美国人拥有枪支。美国个人拥枪总数超过人口总数！

在这种情况下，哪个族裔拥枪率明显低于平均值，就有可能成为入室打劫及其他犯罪的“软目标”。再加上新冠病毒，“功夫流感”，雪上加霜。

安全使用枪支，甚至只是安全地处理枪支，是一种技能。

在美国活一辈子，大大小小碰到车祸的几率几乎是100%；碰到需要处理枪支的机会也是远大于零。绝大多数孩子都会去学习安全驾驶汽车，但有多少孩子有机会学习安全使用枪械呢？

即使不拥枪，学会用枪，特别是安全地使用和处理枪支，对于子女教育，提高华人整体形象，利大于弊。
