If I were you, I would take the first option

I am very sorry for the rabbit. 99% change it is not sick at all, but because it bite a human being very lightly, it is killed.
I don't care about what its owner thinks, and I don't care about whose fault is.
To take a life just to avoid some shots does not sound right to me.
Sorry about this.
Why human being always think themself is superior to any other lives???
