She seems to experience herself by how she is reflected by other people or things. Her value is determined by things that are outside of her.
She should think that she is valuable is because who she is; it's absolute, not relative to anything outside. That absolute-ness comes from her courage and willingness to shoulder her self.
Since she is unwilling to do that, i.e., unwilling to be responsible for the outcome she's produced, perfectionism comes in to delay that inevitable.
She should be able to say to herself: I am good enough, I did my best, and my best is good enough.
Academics are a separate issue. She should be in an environment where her potential can be fully developed.
There are children's version of the Bible, mostly stories, should help her to extend her horizen.
She is at the right age, and you should be commended for your concerns. Praise more for her effort, not only when the outcome is good.
