Plot

 

This story is written in the form of a poem, and is written in the journal of a boy named Jack. In the beginning of the story Jack writes down poems inspired by the poems that his teacher reads them. Upon reading Jack’s typed poem, “Sky” I realized that Jack had incorporated all of the poems he had written to make one poem. The poem was about how his dog, Sky, passed away. This book made me fall in love with this boy’s point of view on things, and also has made me fully appreciate poems, and books that are written as poems.
