It is best to use the same account

You can create a seperate parent account, it is best to use the same account that your child uses, so that both you and your child are aware of it.   Once your child goes to college next year, you will need to file CSS Profile each and every year if the college requires CSS profile. 

During the application period, you will file the CSS profile once, and add any colleges that requires it. You pay a one-time processing fee, plus addtional fee for each college.
