What we all could and do control is the space for divergent thoughts in our own home.  As a corollary, children need to be taught and trained to be comfortable with uncomfortable or even threatening opinions.  Children who do not possess the ability to handle uncomfortable thought challenges are perfect candidates for future snowflakes.
