if he stops suddenly at the middle without finishing play ( depends on which game, ususaly 40 mins ish for CS Go, he will get punishment badly, such as lowering his level, and being banned from playing again for one weeks, or even a month sometimes. He will really hate you. I did not know that before, until later, that will not work for teen, especially older ones.
I suggest make agreetment with them, let him set the time, such as finish all homework, or not game before 11pm ( my son wanted to play so badly, that he tried to complete his work before 10pm, LOL)
Or only play on the weekend...
