我的英语老师告诉我，尽量不要用“per”，这个词太硬，给人一种斩钉截铁掷地有声的感觉

宁可多用几个字，写成“according to"或者“in accordance with"。而在这个句子中，写成”my understanding from our previous conversation was that...“比较准确一点。。
