大家知道美国的top100 universities and top 50 LAC 每年一共能招多少新生吗？ 其中多少是华裔美国人？ Chinese American 的概念，应该是在美国有绿卡或者公民的华裔， 对吗？ 中国来的国际学生应该不算在内。

Chinese American counts 1% in the USA （(3.8 million among 330 million in2017).
So there will be around 30,000 Chinese-American college applicants/ freshmen each year。
我的猜测：
Among those 30,000 Chinese American college freshmen, 20,000 (2/3 or 66%) ends up in ”the top 100 universities and top 50 LAC“.

There were about 340,000 of them in July 2018. Among those, 36% (122,000) is study for Bachelor's degree. If divides 122,000r by 4 (years), there were about 30,000 Chinese-international College freshmen each year.

这么看来，小中和小留的比例，已经接近1：1了。 难怪大家感觉竞争越来越激烈。
