请教各位牛爸牛妈关于 high school volunteer time，多谢！

儿子马上要上高中了，大学申请需要 volunteer time, 我知道 community service 肯定算，那为 private company 义务工作算不算呢？如何找 community service 的工作机会？还有时间从什么时候算起？九月份上高中，那这个暑假干的 count 吗？
