提供一些信息给CMU CS 录取的家长

这个论坛对于哪个CS 学校好争论很多。多为自己子女进了一家， 就开始喷其他的。很无聊。

本贴只给CMU CS 录取的家长提供一点消息， 希望在为您子女选择大学时有些帮助。

几年前孩子被排名靠前的学校录取时，当时有不少提供1-2万一年的奖学金。而CMU CS 一分没有。加上州大的full ride, 所以决定去哪家学校很犹豫。

后来再次校园访问了几家， 和学校的老生谈了几次， 而且发现招生办说CMU CS在本county只收了一名，加上孩子喜欢，所以最后决定去CMU。

原来打算学费都自己给了，后来发现，CMU给的困难补助很不错。尽管我们家长IT senior level income(NYC), 依然可以有。这里分享给犹豫中的家长们。

另外每年的intern, 平均大概$45/hr 左右。所以给家庭负担减少很多。

工作offer 是没问题的。只是挑选问题。

我相信S,M,USB也很好。多访问，让孩子自己定喜欢去哪里。
