看到华盛顿大学（西雅图）的计算机系入学网页说，如果你申请该系被拒的话，你可以考虑统计和informatics之类的。现在CS被拒，想想informatics应该没太大问题吧？结果仔细一看，这专业是接到一般录取（已拿到）之后立即按你是否是第一志愿评估（第二志愿不给投档），几周之内另外通知。原以为他们会自动给考虑这第二志愿的，现在才确信第二志愿仅做资料用， 真害人啊。我没看清楚，女儿更是一问三不知呵呵。

现在AO说，你可以先入学，再转进informatics（该大学现在说，入学之后就别再想转CS，因为几乎不可能）。现在手里有州老二的CS（保证前两年每年4千的奖学金）。本来想，能直接入informatics，就去（华大名气大一些）。现在有点不好办了。
