怎么才算真正的Nerd？

不爱读书的老大说妹妹是nerd, “ she reads textbook for fun, nobody reads textbook for fun”.

我说妹妹才不是nerd，妹妹经常跟同学hangout，老大说 “nerd has friends too, they hangout with nerd friends.”

我说妹妹喜欢逛街喜欢fashion ，老大说 “but she has skillset of nerd “

我以前对nerd的理解是只读书，没有朋友，不爱打扮。 到底什么才算 hardcore NERD？
